Wargames Association of South Pembrokeshire

The Wargames Association of South Pembrokeshire (W.A.S.P.), the county’s oldest wargames club (formed in 1980)* meets every Tuesday, 7pm to 11pm, at:

The Scout Hut,
Treowen Road,
Pembroke Dock,
Pembrokeshire,
SA72 6NY

(Circled below, but it’s the fort that counts)

We cover most historical periods from Classical ancient to Modern, as well as various genres of fantasy and science-fiction gaming.  We host all-day games and multi-day games fairly regularly (basically whenever anyone wants to do one).

For more information, just comment on one of my posts and I’ll get back to you.  Alternatively, we have a blog at https://wargamesasp.wordpress.com

My good friend and fellow WASPer Gareth Beamish also has a truly astonishing array of blogs, from his general wargaming blog ADC Gaming to his Sengoku-Jidai wargaming and history blog at Tenka Fubu.

Here’s just a small sample of our games:

* Another local club (formed in the late 1990s) recently laid claim the title of Pembrokeshire’s oldest wargames club, but There Can Be Only One… 😉
